Paid Time-off and Leave Administration
Once it has been approved by the client, Paid Time-Off tracking is completely handled by Staff-Line. Employees will have immediate access to current information from our on-line HRIS System or they can view their up-to-date time-off balances on their check stub. We administer FMLA, military, personal and other types of leaves. This creates consistency and decreased exposure to compliance issues.

Insurance Benefits Administration
Insurance shopping, eligibility tracking, benefit communication, employee enrollment/waivers, open enrollment, and plan administration are completely handled by Staff-Line in a manner compliant with new HIPAA privacy laws. Insurance premiums are maintained in our HRIS system and benefit payments are reconciled monthly to the insurance bill. Administration of COBRA and HIPAA is completely handled by our qualified Benefits Specialists.

Unemployment Compensation

Unemployment Insurance administration including; claims, required filings, and SUI rate reconciliation is handled by Staff-Line. We assist in the proper documentation of terminations and, with the help of the client Supervisor, contest fraudulent claims. This, along with employment assistance from our affiliate, the Ethan Allen Personnel Group, leads to lower Unemployment Insurance costs.

Retirement Plan Administration
Staff-Line offers its clients the option of adopting its extremely cost effective multiple-employer 401k retirement savings plan. Our plan allows each client tremendous flexibility in how they structure their 401k. Clients determine provisions such as eligibility, matching, profit sharing and safe-harbor. Staff-Line is the fiduciary of the plan and handles the administration listed below. Flexible Spending Account Administration
Flexible Spending Accounts are completely administered by Staff-Line. This is an excellent employee benefit allowing employees to contribute up to $3,000 per year to cover medical expenses not covered under insurance, and up to $5,000 per year to cover qualified dependent care expenses. Employee contributions towards benefits will be deducted on a pre-tax basis thus significantly reducing state and federal taxes!

Cafeteria Benefits Plan Administration
Employee contributions towards benefits will be deducted on a pre-tax basis thus saving pre-taxed dollars and reducing state and federal taxes. The plan is administered by Staff-Line.

Employee Assistance Plan
Staff-Line offers an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) from the Workplace. Staff-Line’s EAP assists our clients, employees, and employees’ families with problems that may interfere with the ability to function on the job effectively, efficiently, and safely. This is an excellent tool to increase productivity and (profits!) by reducing work-related absences. Staff-Line’s EAP also helps control health insurance costs and provides and valuable management support.

Pre-Retirement Counseling Retirement Plan
Staff-Line’s 401k plan participants are provided with on-line access to their accounts, daily valuation of their investments, analytical tools, and quarterly newsletters containing important investment information. Advisors from Navigator Money Management, Inc. provide individual investment advice free of charge to all participants.

Outplacement Services
Outplacement help is available from Staff-Line’s affiliate, The Ethan Allen Personnel Group. Outplacement provides assistance to dislocated workers and helps relieve the costs of extended unemployment. Services vary from free placement assistance to more intense Outplacement Services.
